I Roadtripping from Toronto to Chicago for Lollapalooza in August and I'm on a tight budget. I'm with 4 friends, so that they can be divided into a hotel, but we're gunna stay of 4 nights.

Try this hostel in downtown Chicago (http://www.hichicago.org/). It is cheap and so damn close to the exhibition can take it. Best Book now. They tend to sell quickly.
BTW, just got back from Toronto. Porter can for about $ 90 one way to fly, this is less expensive. And the plane half an hour.
