Carbon Credit Insurance Do Carbon Offset Sellers Of Trees Provide Insurance?

Do Carbon Offset sellers of trees provide insurance? - carbon credit insurance

Do one of the providers of carbon offset trees provide insurance for your choice? Suppose someone gives money to an organization in Africa and the planting of trees on a parcel of land they bought (or deny the local population of arable land, irrigation and reject the use of land by animals). Do these organizations provide insurance against natural disasters, illegal logging, fire, land confiscation and government policies (as) in Zimbabwae. Your investment in the tree on that amount should be kept alive for decades of years, if not hundreds. One day you will have a life that will not compensate for the artillery fire of another war destroys the fabric of the trees in what is it, especially when you realize that you have invested to offset credit for 50 years.

Carbon offsets are a good idea for big business, not people, so many things.

For those industries, set targets for reducing carbon dioxide. Second, trade credit allows these objectives to be met by companies that do less. It's good for society in general. It was well suited for SO2, the cause of acid rain.

For people who are no longer a "good feeling". No goals. Unlike large enterprises guys have no possibility to check whether people say buy credits, which they take effect.

People, it would be better to spend money on things that control really. As better insulation, lighting, programmable thermostats, heating and cooling more effective, efficient transport, etc. will also save money in the long run.

IT industry is fully regulated and do not receive a guarantee of anything. All you will receive a certificate with a photograph of some trees on it.

Are carbon offsets a serious scamus Maximus.
You have more control when you download your money down the toilet.

Go back and dig a little more receptive to the conclusion that most of the money will be used to backfat thickness "CEO pay" and some officials. With a sample, two small "projects" here and there.
